John Ibrahim, aka Ibazz, is a Newcastle-based DJ / Producer.
John’s love for dance music was ingrained from a very young age growing up in Melbourne. The interest to create electronic dance music came in 2008 with his introduction to the music of Trance icon, Armin van Buuren. The appreciation for upbeat, melodic and energetic music has seen John’s productions encapsulate those very elements.
Ibazz has a rich and evolving musical taste which he draws on when producing, combining different genres. You’ll hear various dance music sub-genres such as house, electro, trance, progressive and big room all in one.
Once on stage, he brings energy that is hard to miss.
His mixing is clean cut and the ability to amp up the audience comes from a place of confidence and charisma.
Firmly believing you need to play for your audience as well as creating a memorable experience through music, his fan base continues to grow as a result of this.
Currently a resident DJ at King Street & The Argyle House in Newcastle, Ibazz also holds a regular spot on radio with guest appearances, all this has seen him support numerous touring artists such as Odd Mob, JDG, Dave Winnel, Chumpion, MaRLo, Tryon Hapi, Zombie Nation, Made in Paris, Human Movement, Zac Waters, Reece Low and many more.
As his sound continues to evolve, this young artist is making an impact. His remixes have been added to radio stations around the country and his finished but yet to be released music are on touring djs’ wishlists.
In 2020, Ibazz signed to Pumping Records and is managed by Pumping Management
